All Americans should be concerned that our checks and balances are at risk.

All Americans should be concerned that our checks and balances are at risk. Our system was designed with three equal branches of government so no leader could ever go rogue. No one person was meant to hold unchecked power. That’s the beauty of the United States. When Congress cedes its authority to the president, we put that balance at risk. We must restore checks and balances now, before it is too late. #texaspolitics #checksandbalances #midterms #thewoodlandstx #congress
